About Me

My Mission

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: Every person holds a spark of genius – a unique energy that, when uncovered, allows them to shine bright and lead with purpose.

Purpose as my Compass

I’ve always been drawn to work that makes a difference, work that brings people together and changes lives for the better. My path been a winding one, with each step shaping the way I view people, leadership and purpose.

For the past three decades I’ve followed that thread through a career that’s taken me from research labs at the Boston VA Hospital, to corporate change initiatives at Citigroup, to connecting alumni and parents at New York University, to leading fundraising teams at UNICEF.

At UNICEF USA and UNICEF Headquarters, I launched a new line of philanthropic work that raised over $1 billion for global programs supporting children worldwide…a model later replicated across 24 UNICEF markets and several UN agencies.

But beyond the results, what I loved most was the human part of the work. After years in leadership roles, I realized my greatest passion was helping people uncover what lights them up. Coaching gave me a way to
put that purpose at the center of my professional life.

Centering on Coaching

I completed my coaching training through iPEC, one of the most rigorous and respected programs in the industry, accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). The 320+ hour program combined science, psychology, and transformational coaching practice, blending data-driven tools with intuitive, human-centered insight.

As a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) and Certified Energy Leadership™ Index Master Practitioner (ELI-MP),
I use the Energy Leadership Index™ (ELI) framework to help individuals and organizations understand how the lens through which they view the world
shapes how they lead, communicate, and respond to stress. That awareness becomes a catalyst for powerful change.

My training equips me to help clients clear what’s in their way, reconnect with what truly matters, and take action toward the life and work they’re meant for.

My Approach to Leadership

I see leadership as both an art and a science. The science gives us structure and sustainability. But the art…that’s where the magic happens!

Within every person is a spark of genius. When leaders create space for that spark…aligning strengths, purpose, and energy…individuals and organizations thrive.

My approach is also informed by my study at Harvard Business School Executive Education, where I earned a certificate in Leading and Building a Culture of Innovation. That experience reinforced my belief that true innovation begins with people. That the most forward-thinking ideas and the most adaptive cultures are built when leaders trust, empower, and inspire those around them. This is more vital than ever in a world that’s increasingly automated and disconnected.

Someone once asked me on an interview what superpower I’d choose. I said:

“To realign everyone in the world to do the work they’re meant to do.” If everyone felt inspired, capable, and aligned, imagine what a joyful and productive world we’d live in!”
